Blanco Masonic Lodge #216 was Chartered by the Grand Lodge of Texas on January 19, 1858. The lodge cornerstone was laid on May 3, 1975 by M: W: Grand Master Robert B. O'Connor, Grand Lodge of Texas. The members of our Masonic Lodge are actively involved in many local events. This gives our members an opportunity to be of service. Each year we provide a full Thanksgiving dinner to the elderly, shut-ins and the Blanco community through the Ernie R. Davis, JR. Memorial "Care & Share Dinner". This meal is prepared and served by volunteers from Blanco Masonic Lodge #216 and Blanco Eastern Star Chapter #934. "Marilyn Davis, widow of the namesake, has played a major part in the annual meal preparation and area delivery since it's inception." The "Care & Share Dinner" meals are served in the lodge and delivered to those who cannot make it to our lodge to participate in the dinner. We actively promote Masonry and Masonic ideals through programs like the Community Builder Award, and various Scholarships. Our members are extensively involved in the annual Blanco, Texas Veterans Day parade. Blanco Classic Car Show is held at the Blanco State Park in Blanco on the 3rd Saturday in May. Sponsorship funded, and prizes are awarded. Blanco Masonic Lodge helps Canyon Lake Masonic Lodge #1425 with their food booth at the New Braunfels, TX "WurstFest" each October. The Fellowship Dinner is served beginning at 6:30 PM, and the Lodge convenes at 7:30 PM -- All Masons (EA, FC, MM) are cordially invited.
